Features of Qtravel Search
Qtravel.ai comes with a variety of built-in functionalities that allow for quick integration of a search engine into a website.
Global Language Support
Qtravel Search supports languages such as Polish and English. There are plans to add support for the following languages: German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Swedish, and Norwegian.
Types of Search
Qtravel Search utilizes various search techniques to provide the most relevant search results.
Full-Text Search
Qtravel Search supports a full-text search method that allows searching text (such as user queries entered into the search engine) within text documents, taking into account word variations, spelling errors, and synonyms.
Semantic Search
Qtravel Search supports semantic search based on vector search to increase the accuracy of search results and find contextually relevant results, even if they do not contain the exact words from the original query.
Hybrid Search
Qtravel Search provides hybrid search that combines two search techniques: full-text search and vector search. Vector search is ideal for broad (descriptive) queries, such as "I'm interested in a vacation in a warm place with swimming," while full-text search is better suited for specific keyword queries, such as "Egypt kitesurfing."
Generative Search (coming soon)
Generative search is a technique that generates contextual responses to the user's query based on the search results returned for that query. Generative search uses generative artificial intelligence algorithms to create summaries and explanations of the search results found.
Filtering
Classic Filters
Qtravel Search allows searching using classic filters commonly used in tourism, such as:
- Travel destination (country, region, city)
- Departure date
- Return date
- Number of adults and children (age of children required)
- Price
- Type of accommodation
- Type of transport
- Type of board
- Type and category of room
- Type of offer
- Flight parameters
- Accommodation parameters (e.g., hotel amenities, room amenities)
- Type of promotion
- User reviews.
Semantic Filters
Qtravel Search offers intelligent filters that understand the search context and allow filtering offers based on more detailed criteria. Semantic filters are created during the indexing of tourism offer content based on automatic extraction of information from the offer descriptions. Supported semantic filters include:
- For whom (e.g., for families, for adults)
- Nearby attractions (e.g., museum, landmarks, car rental)
- Nearby activities (e.g., trekking)
- Hotel amenities (e.g., sauna, jacuzzi)
- Room amenities (e.g., kettle, TV)
- Type of offer (e.g., for active people)
- Available cuisines (e.g., vegetarian, Mexican).
Faceting
Qtravel Search has built-in advanced faceting support. In response to a query, facets are returned that are built based on the attributes (features) of the tourism offers found in the search results. They are used to quickly narrow down search results by the client. Unlike filters, facets contain only those attribute values that are available for the returned list of results and can change between searches depending on the selected facets. Filters are more static and independent, meaning the available ones do not change based on previous selections.
Facet Statistics
For each facet value, Qtravel Search returns statistics calculated based on the obtained search results, such as:
- Number of offers
- Number of dates
- Minimum price
- Average price
- Median price
- Maximum price
Typo Tolerance and Typo Correction
Qtravel Search automatically detects and corrects typos in user queries to ensure accurate search results.
